The St. Johns Property Appraiser office helps owners to file for exemptions. The Homestead Exemption allows a benefit of $50,000 on the appraised value of property. All petitions must be filed at the office of St. Johns County FL Property Appraiser between January 1st and March 1st. Eligibility criteria needs to be met and proper documents needs to be provided. Documents to be submitted can be driving license or voter’s card or any other federal government identification card.
